Pablo Colón-Rodríguez is a Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) with a strong academic foundation and a clear commitment to patient-centered care. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico–Cayey, where he was recognized for his discipline, determination, and consistent academic excellence as a four-year Dean’s List honoree. His academic journey reflects a deep interest in the sciences, leadership development, and service to the community.

Throughout his education, Pablo has been actively involved in professional and honor organizations, including the Future Pharmacist Association, the National Honor Society for Biology (TriBeta), and the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP). He served two consecutive years as Historian on the TriBeta board of directors, strengthening his leadership, communication, and organizational skills. His commitment to service is demonstrated through participation in community initiatives such as beach cleanups and disaster relief efforts following Hurricane María and the 2020 earthquakes in Puerto Rico.

Pablo currently holds pharmacy intern licenses in both Puerto Rico and Florida and has gained hands-on clinical experience through community, ambulatory care, internal medicine, infectious disease, and veterans’ health rotations. He is confident in direct patient care, including health screenings, counseling, and medication therapy management. Upon graduation, he plans to complete licensure requirements and pursue a career in community pharmacy, where he can combine clinical knowledge, compassion, and accessibility to make a meaningful impact. Outside of his professional pursuits, Pablo values spending quality time with family and friends.
