Before joining Caris Life Sciences, Omar gained extensive hands-on experience as a Registered Nurse at Las Palmas Medical Center and Premier Specialty Hospital in El Paso, Texas. In these roles, he provided high-quality care to diverse patient populations, honing his clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership abilities. His years in direct patient care have instilled in him a deep commitment to compassion, accuracy, and excellence—values he continues to uphold in his current position.

Omar earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University, where he developed a strong academic and ethical foundation for his career in healthcare.
