Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

I find great fulfillment in supporting clients as they navigate mental health and substance use challenges, helping them gain clarity, resilience, and hope. I also find fulfillment in billing and insurance companies often comes from the meaningful role these jobs play behind the scenes of healthcare and other essential services. Professionals in billing and insurance help ensure that providers are paid accurately and on time, which keeps organizations running smoothly and allows patients or clients to access services without unnecessary financial stress. The work requires problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication, and many people find satisfaction in mastering complex systems and helping resolve issues for others. Stability, clear career paths, and opportunities to grow skills in finance, compliance, and customer service also contribute to a sense of purpose and long-term fulfillment in this field.
