Nicole Meath, MSN, FNP, RN, CMLSO
Nicole Meath, MSN, FNP, RN, CMLSO, is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner and clinical educator with nearly two decades in healthcare, currently serving in both clinical practice and medical technology training. Based in Tempe, Arizona, she works with Adobe Population Health providing comprehensive patient care focused on preventive health and addressing social determinants of health. In parallel, she serves as a West Coast Clinical Trainer for Cynosure, LLC., where she educates providers on advanced laser technologies and aesthetic procedures, emphasizing safe, evidence-based practices that enhance both skin health and patient confidence.
Nicole began her nursing career in 2006 after being inspired by volunteer work in a hospital setting, quickly gaining experience in high-acuity environments such as the ICU and emergency department. In 2016, she advanced her career by becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, transitioning into dermatology and aesthetics where she developed expertise in laser treatments, injectables, and skin health. Her leadership experience includes several years as a regional medical director, overseeing multiple clinics and ensuring clinical excellence, training, and patient safety across diverse teams.
Education and innovation remain central to Nicole’s professional mission. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Leadership and Innovation at Arizona State University, with an expected graduation in 2027. In addition, she contributes to academic training by supporting nursing education in simulation and clinical settings. Passionate about prevention, she is actively involved in initiatives promoting skin cancer awareness and sun safety. What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
I really enjoy seeing patients have better self-esteem when they have better skincare routines. I'm not just talking about Botox and lip filler and that stuff, but pigment issues or doing something that they're not comfortable with or afraid to show because they have a spot on their face. That's something that we can do, and it's so easy to do. I believe everybody should have the right to that kind of care. When I work with my family practice patients through social determinants of health, I find it rewarding to help patients who sometimes don't have very much food or are living day-to-day and falling behind on their rent. Being able to help with that is really nice. I also really enjoy helping new nurses learn how to be nurses, which is something I know how to do very well.
