Nicholas Trum is a dedicated physician currently serving as a PGY-3 Internal Medicine Resident at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. With a strong commitment to patient-centered care, he aspires to become a dermatology-focused primary care provider, with plans to practice in the Pennsylvania or tri-state area. Throughout his residency, Nicholas has honed his clinical skills while maintaining a deep focus on evidence-based medicine and compassionate patient interactions.

Prior to his residency, Nicholas gained extensive research experience as a Scientific Research Fellow at City of Hope, where he worked under Dr. Christiane Querfeld on studies related to Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL), contributing to impactful publications in the field. He also served as a Visiting Research Scholar at The Feinstein Institute and worked in the UC San Diego School of Medicine’s Shelton Lab, researching autoimmune neuromuscular diseases. These experiences strengthened his expertise in translational research and reinforced his commitment to advancing medical knowledge.

Nicholas earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine, after completing his undergraduate studies in Physiology and Neuroscience at UC San Diego. A lifelong learner with a passion for service, he has volunteered extensively in clinical settings, supporting both emergency and refugee health initiatives. Fluent in English and proficient in Hebrew, Nicholas combines his academic achievements, research experience, and dedication to patient care to make a meaningful impact in the medical community.
