Natalie Kongthungmon
Nathalie is a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS certified) with over two decades of experience in cardiac care, leadership, and patient services. Currently serving at Suburban Hospital, she brings a wealth of expertise in interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures, as well as in managing clinical operations with precision and compassion. Her extensive background includes leading cardiovascular and interventional radiology teams at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where she oversaw both manpower and resources to ensure operational excellence and high-quality patient outcomes.
Throughout her 20-year career in the U.S. Army, Nathalie held numerous leadership roles, culminating in her position as Senior Enlisted Leader for Cardiovascular Health & Interventional Radiology (CVHIR). In this capacity, she managed cardiac catheterization labs, interventional radiology units, and recovery teams—playing a key role in both patient care and the professional development of her staff. Her bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish has also allowed her to foster more inclusive care for diverse patient populations.
Following her military retirement in 2024, Nathalie continues her commitment to excellence in cardiovascular health. She combines her strong technical acumen, clinical experience, and leadership background to contribute to teams that value precision, empathy, and innovation in patient care. Passionate about advancing cardiac health, Nathalie remains dedicated to improving patient outcomes through teamwork, continuous learning, and compassionate service.
