Nassim Nabavi
Nassim Nabavi, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience in neurology, providing comprehensive care in outpatient settings. She graduated from Emory University’s Physician Assistant program in 2015 and earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University.
Ms. Nabavi specializes in the diagnosis and management of complex neurological conditions, including migraines, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, peripheral neuropathy, dorsalgia, Parkinson’s disease, and other movement disorders. She also has extensive experience in pain management and worked closely with a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician for three years, contributing to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.
Prior to PA school, Ms. Nabavi worked for four years in the operating room as an intraoperative neuromonitoring specialist, serving hospitals throughout the southeastern United States, including the Augusta region. She also gained experience as a radiology assistant with USTeleradiology.
In addition to her medical training, Ms. Nabavi is a certified yoga instructor and incorporates a holistic approach alongside evidence-based Western medicine. She emphasizes lifestyle modification, therapeutic movement, stress management, and proper nutrition as integral components of neurological and pain care. Her approach focuses on treating the whole person, empowering patients to take an active role in their long-term health and well-being.
