Muniza Ansari, RN
Miniza, known affectionately as “Moon,” is a dedicated registered nurse with nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare field. She began her journey in 2006 as a CNA before earning her LPN from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in 2013 and later her RN degree from Fortis Institute in 2018. Over the years, she has built a strong foundation in geriatrics, med-surg, rehabilitation, and home health, and she is now exploring opportunities to transition into mental health nursing. Her diverse clinical background, paired with her natural ability to connect with patients, has shaped her into a compassionate and intuitive caregiver.
Throughout her career, Miniza has often been entrusted with leadership and educational roles. She has served as a team lead at Bordeaux in Nashville, where she trained CNAs and LPNs, and worked as a clinical manager in home health, providing instruction in wound care and patient management. Known for her strong assessment skills and ability to recognize subtle changes in patient condition, she has consistently demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to helping patients achieve the best outcomes.
Deeply rooted in faith and guided by her desire to help others, Miniza views nursing as a calling rather than a career. She draws inspiration from her aunt, a physician who first sparked her interest in healthcare, and she continues to serve others with empathy, intuition, and grace. A single mother of two daughters, she strives to set a strong example through her work ethic, compassion, and dedication to personal growth. Outside of her professional life, she has volunteered at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and hopes to further contribute her time to organizations like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the future.
