Dr. Muhammad Arsalan Khan is an experienced academic Consultant General Surgeon and qualified Transplant Surgeon with extensive international training, including fellowships at the University of Colorado Denver and Wake Forest University. He currently serves as Professor of Surgery at Sindh Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS-SIUT), a Higher Education Commission (HEC) approved academic center in Pakistan, and as Assistant Medical Director and Recovery Surgeon at Network For Hope.

Dr. Khan’s career in the United States included serving as Instructor in Organ Transplant Surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina, where he honed his expertise in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. His special interests include Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgery, as well as advancing laparoscopic surgical techniques.

An accomplished academic, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presented oral and poster abstracts at international conferences, and serves as a member of multiple institutional research committees. Dr. Khan is a CPSP-approved Supervisor and national Examiner for General Surgical residency training and qualifying exams, and has played a pivotal role in establishing Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgery programs at SIUT, including laparoscopic surgery facilities and faculty training.
