After discerning that path was not his calling, he transitioned to youth ministry, earning a Master’s in Theology from the Augustine Institute. His dedication to helping others then led him to earn a Master’s in Psychology from Divine Mercy University and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University, equipping him with a strong foundation for clinical practice.

Matthew has also held prior positions at Catholic Charities in Kankakee and Downers Grove, providing counseling services in community-based settings. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his cat, nieces, and nephews, and values family connections deeply.
