Marwa Oudah, MD
Dr. Marwa Oudah is an American Board–Certified physician specializing in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Internal Medicine, with advanced expertise in Pulmonary Hypertension and Pulmonary Vascular Disease. She completed her Pulmonary Hypertension Fellowship at Penn Medicine, enhancing her subspecialty training at one of the nation’s leading academic health systems. Her clinical foundation includes a three-year Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at The George Washington University Hospital, preceded by her tenure as Chief Resident and Internal Medicine Resident at GBMC Healthcare. Early training at Mafraq Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi shaped her as a globally informed and deeply dedicated clinician.
Dr. Oudah has distinguished herself as a researcher, critical care physician, and emerging voice in pulmonary vascular disease. She has authored peer-reviewed publications in the Journal of Community Hospital Internal Medicine Perspectives and presented nationally, including at the 2025 CHEST Conference in Chicago, where she discussed evolving treatments for pulmonary arterial hypertension in the era of Sotatercept. She also serves as a peer reviewer for the European Respiratory Journal and Pulmonary Circulation Journal.
Committed to advancing evidence-based care and improving outcomes for patients with complex cardiopulmonary conditions, Dr. Oudah recently completed an AI in Healthcare certificate program at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, highlighting her interest in leveraging technology to enhance patient care and health system performance. Dr. Oudah’s professional journey spans from Abu Dhabi to major U.S. academic centers and includes the honor of meeting His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed during his official visit to the United States. She received the UAE Presidential Affairs Scholarship Office’s Distinguished Doctors Award under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, awarded by H.H. Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan in October 2025.
