Marissa Rosenbaum, BSN, RN
Marissa Rosenbaum, RN, CCRN, is a seasoned Registered Nurse and Operations Systems Lead who merges clinical expertise with healthcare technology and operational leadership. Based in Georgetown, Texas, she focuses on optimizing healthcare delivery, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing experiences for both patients and clinicians. Her work reflects a balance of compassionate care and strategic systems thinking, positioning her at the forefront of modern healthcare innovation.
Marissa began her career in healthcare as a medical assistant in an OBGYN office, gaining firsthand exposure to patient care and the intricacies of clinical operations. Early experiences in administrative and clinical roles sparked her interest in the systems that support patient care, ultimately motivating her to pursue a career in nursing. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Austin Community College and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, building a solid foundation in both clinical practice and healthcare systems.
After becoming a registered nurse in 2018, Marissa completed an intensive care unit (ICU) rotation that proved transformative. Immersed in high-acuity patient care, she discovered a passion for critical care nursing and developed strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making skills, and the ability to provide empathetic support to patients and families during some of their most vulnerable moments. Her dedication led her to earn Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification and take on leadership roles, including serving as a Charge Nurse where she led initiatives in education, self-governance, and process improvement.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Marissa’s bedside experience became even more critical. She faced unprecedented challenges that tested her resilience, reinforced the importance of teamwork, and highlighted the need for efficient healthcare systems. These experiences inspired her to explore how technology could enhance care delivery, reduce burdens on clinical staff, and improve outcomes for patients in complex care environments.
Transitioning into clinical informatics and operations, Marissa now serves as Operations Systems Lead at Float Health, a remote startup focused on home infusion care. She leads the design and implementation of operational systems, optimizes workflows, and collaborates with internal technology teams, external partners, and field nurses to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Known for her ability to simplify complex processes, she ensures technology supports—not hinders—care delivery while fostering scalable solutions for a growing healthcare organization.
Beyond her professional work, Marissa is committed to continuous learning, innovation, and mentorship. She enjoys reading, tackling DIY projects, and learning to code, reflecting her problem-solving mindset. She is also the mother of a young daughter with severe food allergies, an experience that further strengthens her advocacy, vigilance, and empathy for patients and families. Through her combination of clinical insight, operational expertise, and a human-centered approach, Marissa Rosenbaum exemplifies the evolving role of nurses as leaders and innovators in healthcare.
