Marianna Chrysiliou, CAGS, MAEd
Marianna Chrysiliou is an accomplished behavioral health professional and Addiction Medicine Specialist with extensive experience in outpatient substance use treatment and medication-assisted care for opioid use disorders. She currently serves as Assistant Director of Behavioral Health at the Center for Community Alternatives (CCA), where she leads programs supporting court-involved adults, at-risk youth, and young people. Marianna is committed to providing equitable access to care, fostering empowerment, and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth. Her proactive, ethical, and collaborative approach has enabled her to drive meaningful impact across community-based, clinical, and academic settings.
In her role at CCA, Marianna oversees the development and implementation of evidence-based behavioral health programs. She facilitates group and individual sessions, focusing on empowerment, recovery, and career readiness. Trained in interventions such as Thinking for a Change 4.0 and Interactive Journaling, she integrates cognitive-behavioral strategies, social skills development, and problem-solving techniques to help clients achieve sustainable outcomes. Marianna also collaborates with multidisciplinary medical teams and leads initiatives to connect participants with internships, job placements, and skill-building opportunities.
Beyond her clinical and administrative work, Marianna is a co-founder of Educational Psychology Corner, a quarterly publication providing psychoeducational resources, and serves as a K-12 consultant with Excel Student Solutions. She enjoys sharing her Greek heritage through cooking, teaching Greek dance and language, practicing mindfulness, and writing. Marianna holds a CAGS in School Psychology, a Master of Arts in Education (K-12 Guidance and Counseling), and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Advertising (cum laude) from Murray State University. Her professional excellence has been recognized with inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who in America (2024) and MSUAA Top 22 Under 40 (2022).
