Mariangie Velez Soto, MS, CCC, SLP

Marie Angie Velez Soto is a dedicated speech-language pathologist providing center-based, home-based, and school-based services to children and adolescents ages 3–21. She currently works with Kids Therapy Services in Maya and Centro Ajani in Moca, Puerto Rico, and receives referrals from the Department of Education and local Head Start programs.

Marie Angie specializes in speech articulation, voice, language development, conversational skills, and written language. She emphasizes empathy, family-centered care, and evidence-based treatment, focusing on practical strategies that support progress both at school and at home. She also supervises students during clinical training, sharing her knowledge and experience with the next generation of speech-language pathologists.

With nearly a decade of experience working with children and families—beginning as a speech-language assistant in 2015—Marie Angie earned her Bachelor’s degree from Ana Jimenez University and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Alviso University. She holds the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), which qualifies her to provide professional services and supervise clinical students. She is a member of ASHA, actively involved in both Puerto Rico and U.S.-based professional communities.
