Margaux Bordey ,RN
Margaux Bordey, RN, is a registered nurse with nearly three years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Aventis Glendale in California. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from the Los Angeles County College of Nursing and quickly developed a diverse clinical skill set working in both surgical telemetry and behavioral psychiatry. In her role, she cares for adult patients in acute and intensive inpatient settings, supporting individuals with complex cardiac conditions as well as those requiring specialized behavioral health care.
Margaux’s work in surgical telemetry focuses on monitoring and caring for patients with cardiac conditions following surgical procedures, requiring strong clinical assessment and rapid response skills. At the same time, she has gained valuable experience in inpatient behavioral psychiatry, working with patients facing a wide range of mental health challenges. While she enjoys both areas of practice, Margaux has developed a particular passion for behavioral health during the past year, finding the field both challenging and rewarding as she helps patients navigate critical moments in their recovery.
In addition to her clinical work, Margaux has a strong interest in pharmaceuticals, particularly psychiatric medications and their role in improving patient outcomes. She enjoys learning about new treatments and the evolving science behind mental health care. Outside of her professional life, Margaux loves traveling and exploring new places, balancing the demands of nursing with experiences that broaden her perspective and enrich her personal life.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
To be honest, I like both areas that I work in - surgical telemetry and behavioral psychiatry. But I do enjoy the psych side a little bit more because I'm fairly new in it. I've only been in there a year, so it's still exciting and engaging for me. I'm really passionate about learning more about pharmaceuticals, especially psychiatric medications. That's a big thing for me right now - understanding how different medications work, whether it's cardiac meds or psych meds, but as of late, it's definitely the psych meds that fascinate me the most.
