Lydia Apencha, PharmD, RPh
Lydia Apencha, PharmD, RPh, is a dedicated pharmacist with experience in both retail and clinical pharmacy settings. She currently works at Giant Food, where she has been serving patients part-time since 2022. Lydia also has clinical experience as an in-patient pharmacist with MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center and has completed internships at MedStar Harbor Hospital and the DC Department of Health (HAHSTA), focusing on HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD, and TB administration.
Lydia earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Howard University College of Pharmacy, where she was actively involved in professional organizations such as APHA and ASHP. She is licensed as a pharmacist and certified in immunization, reflecting her commitment to patient care, public health, and ongoing professional development.
Passionate about helping patients improve their health and well-being, Lydia is skilled in problem solving, communication, and organization. She brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to pharmacy, combining clinical knowledge with real-world experience to support individuals in managing their medications and overall health.

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to educate others. I find it incredibly rewarding to help patients understand their health, make informed decisions, and take an active role in their care. Sharing knowledge empowers them to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
