Lori Sperry, RN

Lori Sperry is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with nearly four decades of dedication to patient care. She currently serves in a pre-operative role at John Muir Medical Center, where she has been a valued team member for over 22 years. In her current position, Lori prepares patients of all ages for surgical procedures, ensuring they feel informed, safe, and supported. Her extensive clinical background and commitment to excellence have made her a trusted provider known for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Prior to transitioning into pre-op care, Lori spent approximately 30 years specializing in labor and delivery, with additional experience in NICU, postpartum care, gynecological surgery, and hospital-wide float nursing. Her career began in Oregon and expanded through Washington and California, where she gained diverse experience across multiple healthcare systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University, which she proudly earned later in her career, along with certifications including RNC in inpatient obstetrics, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS.

Lori is deeply passionate about patient advocacy and building meaningful, lasting connections with those she serves. Known for her warmth and empathy, she values each patient’s unique background, culture, and beliefs, and strives to provide care grounded in honesty and integrity. Throughout her career, she has maintained relationships with patients spanning decades, reflecting her genuine commitment to making a lasting impact.
