Lorenzo Marmolejo, LCSW

Lorenzo Marmolejo, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker based in Clint, Texas, with a decade of experience providing compassionate mental health support to individuals facing life’s most difficult challenges. He earned his degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and now provides online therapy for teenagers and adults, helping clients navigate issues such as grief, emotional distress, and life transitions. Known for his empathetic and understanding approach, Lorenzo is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can work toward healing and personal growth.

Lorenzo’s path to social work was shaped by a life-changing experience. While originally studying nursing, he was involved in a severe car accident that left him in a coma for three months. When he regained consciousness, he faced numerous obstacles during recovery, including physical challenges and the devastating realization that he had become legally blind. During this difficult period, the social workers who supported him played a pivotal role in helping him rebuild his life. Their compassion and guidance inspired him to pursue a career in social work so he could offer the same hope and support to others facing adversity.

Today, Lorenzo channels his personal experience into meaningful work that extends beyond the therapy setting. In addition to his clinical practice, he is deeply committed to community service, volunteering at grief centers and homeless shelters to support individuals navigating loss and hardship. Through both his professional work and volunteer efforts, Lorenzo strives to be a beacon of hope for those who feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges, demonstrating through his own journey that healing, resilience, and purpose are possible even in the face of profound adversity.
