Loren Walker, RN

Loren Walker is an experienced emergency room nurse with a diverse clinical background and a strong foundation in battlefield medicine. He began his healthcare journey serving as a combat medic in the U.S. Army from 2011 to 2015, where he developed the skills, resilience, and composure essential in high-pressure environments. Since transitioning to civilian healthcare, Loren has built a well-rounded career across various roles—from CNA to LPN, and now as a Registered Nurse in the ER at Northeast Baptist Hospital.
Loren’s clinical experience spans long-term care, rehabilitation, med/surg, and progressive care units. His current role in the ER allows him to bring together his military training and nursing expertise to make a direct and immediate impact in critical care. He is known for his calm presence, quick decision-making, and commitment to patient safety and dignity under pressure.
Passionate about saving lives and expanding his professional reach, Loren is currently exploring travel nursing and relocation opportunities, particularly in the DFW or Oklahoma City areas. With a degree in nursing from Front Range Community College and a dedication to continual growth, he is eager to bring his skills, adaptability, and service mindset to new healthcare settings.
