Lissenya B. Argueta, PhD, is an experienced translational scientist and Assistant Director of Clinical Research Methodology at Worldwide Clinical Trials, specializing in First-in-Human study designs for autoimmune indications. With over 12 years of experience in pre-clinical drug development, tissue engineering, endothelial-to-hematopoietic transition, and the effects of COVID-19 on placental function, she excels at translating complex scientific concepts into clear, actionable insights for both expert and lay audiences.

Dr. Argueta has led and contributed to numerous research projects, presented at scientific conferences, and authored multiple publications. Her expertise includes designing basket studies, developing multivariate evaluation platforms for biomarker selection, and navigating regulatory pathways to ensure compliance with FDA and EMA standards.
