Lindsey Simpson, MSN, AOCNP, APNP, is a dual-specialty nurse practitioner with extensive expertise in rheumatology and oncology. Based in Wisconsin, she has built a career centered on delivering high-quality, patient-focused care across the continuum, including health screening, diagnosis, treatment planning, disease and symptom management, care coordination, and cancer survivorship. Her practice emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, particularly for patients with uncommon and rare diseases, ensuring comprehensive support for both patients and their families.

Lindsey brings more than a decade of advanced practice experience, having served in key clinical and leadership roles within rheumatology, radiation oncology, and specialty disease programs. She currently practices as a Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner at the Rheumatic Disease Center, where she evaluates and manages patients with complex rheumatologic conditions, with special clinical interests in gout and osteoporosis. She also serves as a faculty educator and speaker for Amgen and Horizon Speakers Bureaus, providing education on rare diseases such as uncontrolled gout and ANCA-associated vasculitis. Earlier in her career at Ascension, Lindsey led multiple program development initiatives, including high-risk lung clinics and cancer survivorship programs, and held advanced certification as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner and Tobacco Treatment Specialist.

In addition to her clinical work, Lindsey has demonstrated strong leadership and community engagement. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Lung Association and has led multidisciplinary teams in program development and implementation. Outside of healthcare, she remains actively involved in youth sports as a basketball and volleyball coach and is also an entrepreneur as the owner of an RV rental business. Lindsey’s career is defined by clinical excellence, collaborative leadership, and a steadfast commitment to improving outcomes for patients with complex and rare conditions.
