Lilian Smith is a dedicated therapist who has spent her career helping individuals and families find hope, healing, and resilience. With decades of experience in the mental health field, Lilian has worked in diverse clinical environments—including private practice, school-based and home-based services, medical social work, and integrated behavioral health settings. Her background includes supporting adolescents, adults, and families through mental health challenges, grief, trauma, addiction, and major life transitions. She is skilled in collaborative teamwork and excels at developing treatment approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Lilian holds a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work from Purdue University. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 1998 and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) since 2013—credentials that reflect both her experience and her enduring dedication to professional growth and clinical excellence.

Beyond her therapy practice, Lilian is passionate about community connection and giving back. She has volunteered with programs supporting women and children, and she currently coaches youth in a meaningful animal-assisted program that pairs dogs from local shelters with juvenile residents learning responsibility, empathy, and trust.
