Leah Camel, O.D.
Driven by a passion for helping others and a commitment to improving patients’ quality of life through better vision, I am a dedicated optometrist focused on providing compassionate and comprehensive eye care. I strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where patients feel respected, heard, and confident in the care they receive.
Throughout my training and clinical experience, I developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care and a deep commitment to continually expanding my medical knowledge. I believe in staying current with advancements in optometry in order to provide the highest quality care and the best possible outcomes for my patients.
After completing my optometric education and clinical training, I am now proud to serve patients at Guidry Eye Care, where I work alongside a skilled team to provide thorough eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and help patients achieve optimal visual health.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in my patients’ lives. I love helping patients understand their health, empowering them to take an active role in their care, and seeing the positive impact of treatment on their well-being. The trust patients place in me and the connections I build with them are incredibly rewarding, and there’s nothing more fulfilling than knowing I’ve helped someone feel healthier, more confident, and supported.
