Lauren Green, RN
Lauren G. is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse at BayCare Health System, bringing a patient-centered approach and a strong commitment to excellence in every aspect of her practice. Lauren earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Hillsborough Community College, where she completed extensive clinical rotations at Tampa General Hospital, Florida West Tampa Hospital, AdventHealth Tampa, and St. Joseph Hospital. Prior to becoming an RN, she gained valuable experience as an LPN and patient care technician with VITAS Healthcare, Maxim Healthcare Services, and Jackson Health System. These experiences helped her develop a strong foundation in critical care, tele-triage, and patient advocacy, equipping her to deliver compassionate and evidence-based care.
Beyond her clinical work, Lauren is a published author, having written Motherhood and Nursing School in 2024, which shares her journey balancing parenting and nursing education. She is an active volunteer with Feeding Tampa Bay and a member of the Florida Nurses Association and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Passionate, driven, and resilient, Lauren continues to inspire colleagues and patients alike, combining professional excellence with a genuine dedication to improving the lives of those she serves.

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to learn something new every day. No two days are ever the same, and I thrive in the fast-paced, dynamic environment that keeps me constantly engaged. Beyond the intellectual stimulation, there is a profound sense of fulfillment and purpose in knowing that my work directly impacts the lives of patients. The rush I feel when making a difference, no matter how small, is what drives my passion for this profession and motivates me to continually grow as a clinician.
