Lara Dixon, CNA

Lara Dixon is a North Carolina licensed Certified Nursing Assistant with over a decade of experience providing compassionate, in-home care for older adults and veterans. Through her work with The Handylady, she delivers personalized assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and shaving, while also supporting clients with light housekeeping, errands, and companionship. She is the owner of a residential house-cleaning business, The Handylady, and previously gained experience in customer service and durable medical equipment coordination, including ostomy supplies, wound care, and catheter management. Her early career included administrative work in the military and private sector, providing a strong foundation in organization, attention to detail, and client-focused service. Lara also served seven years in the military, an experience that continues to inform her care for veteran clients.

Lara holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, along with early childhood credentials and her CNA certification.
