Lana White-King, MD

Dr. Lana White-King, MD, is a hospitalist and site medical director at Fairview Northland Hospital, bringing over 15 years of experience in internal medicine to her role. She combines hands-on patient care with system-level leadership, focusing on improving clinical outcomes, patient safety, and interdisciplinary collaboration across the hospital. Her work reflects a commitment to both excellence in medicine and equity in healthcare access.
Her clinical expertise spans the diagnosis and management of complex and chronic conditions affecting the heart, lungs, kidneys, digestive system, vascular system, and more. Dr. White-King provides comprehensive care to adolescents, adults, and elderly patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, emphasizing preventive medicine, wellness, and mental health alongside the effective management of chronic diseases.
In her leadership role, Dr. White-King has implemented interdisciplinary rounding practices that unite physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other care team members at the bedside.
