What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most is the continuity of care with my patients. Family medicine is the first line of healthcare and preventative medicine, and I love being able to use my expertise to help wherever I can. Being a mom and an aunt, I see the social pressures children face and how mental health challenges can begin at a young age, often overlooked. I really enjoy talking with kids and guiding them through these challenges. My interest in adolescent medicine was sparked by being surrounded by family and children and witnessing firsthand how early intervention can make a difference. I want my patients to feel comfortable speaking openly with me—not just about taking medications, but about their concerns, questions, and feelings. Building that connection with patients is where I thrive.
