Kristoffer John Rouse, PhD, LMHC, CHT

Kristoffer Rouse, Ph.D., is the CEO and Owner of EvolvCARE Counseling PLLC and a licensed psychotherapist and hypnotherapist serving the Greater Seattle area. With a doctorate in Psychology from Walden University and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Dr. Rouse brings more than a decade of clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a wide range of mental health challenges. His work is grounded in respect for each individual’s uniqueness and a commitment to personalized, evidence-based care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Rouse has specialized in treating mood and anxiety disorders, anger management, life transitions, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral concerns, with particular expertise supporting adolescents and young adult males. He has held leadership roles including Director of Counseling Internships at Dayspring Behavioral Health, where he supervised and mentored emerging clinicians, reviewed practicum and internship placements, and supported professional development. His background also includes postdoctoral fellowship training, clinical internships in medical and community settings, and extensive experience in neuropsychological and forensic assessment.

Dr. Rouse is known for his integrative and approachable therapeutic style, drawing on existential-humanistic principles to help clients navigate life challenges with clarity and purpose. Influenced by his personal connection to the gaming and comic book community, he creates a relatable and engaging therapeutic environment that resonates with diverse clients. Through EvolvCARE Counseling, he is dedicated to empowering individuals to develop insight, resilience, and meaningful change as they progress on their personal life journey.
