Kristen M. Fuller, BSN MSN APRN
Kristen Fuller, RN, MSN, FNP-C (Board Certification expected March 2026), is an experienced registered nurse and emerging Family Nurse Practitioner based in Murfreesboro. With more than 14 years of diverse nursing experience, she currently serves at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in acute med-surg care, where she floats to Community Living Centers, geri-psych, and inpatient mental health units. She also works within the float pool at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, supporting a major Level I trauma center and multiple affiliated hospitals, gaining broad experience across burn stepdown, transplant, cardiac stepdown, gender-affirming care, and progressive care units. Recognized for her clinical excellence, she recently received the Director’s Award from the VA for outstanding patient safety.
Kristen earned her BSN from Bob Jones University in 2011 and is completing her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner track, at Chamberlain University, graduating in February 2026. Her background includes seven years as a school nurse before transitioning into hospital-based stepdown and acute care nursing. She holds multiple advanced certifications, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, chemotherapy administration, and board certification in medical-surgical nursing. Additionally, she has contributed to Evidence-Based Practice research and implementation efforts and serves within Shared Governance, reflecting her commitment to quality improvement and professional leadership.
Passionate about holistic healthcare, Kristen approaches each patient as a whole person—addressing physical, mental, and spiritual needs to promote lasting wellness. Her long-term goal is to continue serving veterans as a Family Nurse Practitioner while also teaching future nurses at the university level as a clinical adjunct or classroom instructor. Having previously lectured in a collegiate health program setting, she remains dedicated to mentorship, patient advocacy, and advancing excellence in nursing practice.
