Kristan Garza, MA, RT(R)

Kristan Garza has built a strong and diverse career in healthcare, with more than 15 years of hands-on experience spanning orthopedics, pain management, pediatrics, and urgent care. She currently serves at NextCare Urgent Care in Beeville, Texas, where her compassion, clinical skill, and steady leadership make her a trusted presence among both patients and colleagues.

Kristan began her medical journey in 2009, earning her Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology from Coastal Bend College. She spent several years working closely with orthopedic surgeons as an X-ray technologist and medical assistant, where she developed a deep understanding of diagnostic imaging and patient care. Her experience expanded into management roles in clinical settings, demonstrating her ability to lead teams while maintaining excellence in patient outcomes.

After nearly a decade of diverse clinical experience, Kristan discovered her passion for urgent care medicine — a fast-paced, multifaceted environment that allows her to combine technical expertise with compassionate care. In 2023, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and is now preparing to begin the next phase of her career as a registered nurse, eager to put her education and experience into practice to make a greater impact on patient health and community wellness.
