Koya Traynham, LPN

Koya Traynham, LPN, is a dedicated and compassionate nurse with five years of experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, and psychiatric nursing within facility-based settings. She began her healthcare journey as a nurse aide at the May Institute, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of those she serves.

Koya earned her Licensed Practical Nurse certification from Porter Chester Institute in May 2020 and has since been affiliated with Behavior Health Network, contributing to multiple programs and delivering high-quality care to diverse patient populations. Her practice emphasizes both clinical excellence and empathetic support, fostering positive outcomes for her patients.

Currently, Koya is advancing her education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Elms College, with anticipated completion between 2027 and 2028. She attributes her professional success to her deep passion for nursing and the unwavering support of her family and friends, who have inspired and encouraged her throughout her career. Outside of work, Koya enjoys cooking and dancing, which provide creative outlets and balance in her life.
