Dr. Kendra M. Irizarry Pagan, DMD
Dr. Kendra M. Irizarry Pagan, DMD, is a distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based in Manhattan, New York, with over a decade of clinical experience. Representing the vibrant and highly competitive New York medical community, she is known for combining advanced surgical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Her work reflects a deep commitment to both clinical excellence and the overall well-being of her patients.
Originally from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Dr. Irizarry earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus in 2013. She continued her postgraduate training at New York Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Campus, where she completed a General Practice Residency. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, leading her to pursue further specialized training.
Dr. Irizarry completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she later went on to complete her residency and advanced surgical training in 2016. This rigorous experience laid the foundation for a career marked by technical precision, versatility, and a strong dedication to lifelong learning. Her clinical interests span the full spectrum of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, from routine surgical procedures to minor facial cosmetic interventions.
Today, Dr. Irizarry maintains a diverse practice portfolio, providing care at Flushing Hospital, the Hotel Trades Surgical Suites, and multiple private practices in Brooklyn. She also holds hospital affiliations with Flushing Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, and Mount Sinai West Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, she plays an active academic role, working part-time with general practice residents at Flushing Hospital and contributing to the education and mentorship of future dental professionals.
An active member of the professional community, Dr. Irizarry holds memberships with the American Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the New York Dental Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the New York Dental Society.
