Kelly Kirk, MSN, RN
Kelly Kirk, MSN, RN, is a highly experienced nursing professional with over 27 years of clinical and leadership experience in healthcare. She currently serves as the Senior Nursing Operations Manager at MedStar Medical Group, where she oversees nursing operations and leads initiatives to enhance patient care, staff development, and operational efficiency across the Washington DC–Baltimore region. Kelly’s extensive background in nursing education and management has allowed her to bridge the gap between frontline clinical care and administrative excellence.
Throughout her career, Kelly has held diverse roles in clinical and operational settings, including Device Manager at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Heart Failure Specialist at St. Jude Medical, Clinical Education Specialist at GE Healthcare, and Clinical Nurse Specialist at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Her expertise spans nursing administration, heart failure management, healthcare information technology, and clinical education, enabling her to implement programs that improve both patient outcomes and staff performance.
Kelly’s educational foundation includes a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s Degree in Registered Nursing from The Johns Hopkins University. She is known for her commitment to professional development, mentorship, and fostering collaborative, patient-centered care environments.
