Keisha Davis, MSN, RN, CNOR
Keisha (KD Kaesthetics) Davis, MSN, RN, CNOR, is a registered nurse with 11 years of experience specializing in perioperative nursing, aesthetic nursing, and paramedical tattooing. She has worked with prestigious healthcare institutions including MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Methodist, where she provided clinical care in high-acuity surgical settings. In addition to her clinical work, Keisha has served as a nurse educator and mentor, training new nurse residents and supporting the professional development of healthcare teams in hospital and contract settings.
Beyond the operating room, Keisha has cultivated a specialization in aesthetic nursing. She provides cosmetic treatments including injectables, laser services, and advanced skincare procedures. Her expertise in both surgical and aesthetic care allows her to approach patient care holistically, combining technical skill with empathy to ensure the best outcomes for her patients. Her ability to balance the procedural and relational aspects of nursing has earned her recognition as a trusted provider and mentor.
Keisha is the founder and owner of KD Kaesthetics, a business dedicated to paramedical tattooing for patients recovering from cancer and other surgical procedures. Through KD Kaesthetics, she works with patients to restore confidence and self-image, creating areola tattoos, scar camouflage, and other paramedical interventions that help patients feel whole again. This work allows her to see the full impact of her care, helping patients reclaim their identity and confidence after major medical procedures.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University (2018) and is currently completing a post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas at Arlington, expected in December. Her certifications include perioperative nursing (CNOR), and she is an active member of professional organizations such as AORN, ISPAN, and Sigma Theta Tau. Keisha’s clinical expertise, combined with her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, positions her as a leader in perioperative and aesthetic nursing.
Outside of her professional work, Keisha enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors hiking and cycling, and connecting with her family. What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. While healthcare can be challenging and not every day brings recognition, the gratitude and acknowledgement from patients remind me why I chose this path. Whether caring for patients in the operating room when they are asleep and vulnerable or helping cancer survivors regain confidence through paramedical tattooing, knowing that people trust me and my team during their most vulnerable moments is profoundly rewarding and keeps me grounded, even on difficult days.
