Kathy Crawford Mills, RN is a seasoned Registered Nurse with more than 25 years of experience in emergency medicine, trauma care, and advanced clinical practice. Based in New Hope, Alabama, she has built her career around serving patients in high-acuity environments, including roles in Emergency Departments, critical care units (CCU, MICU, NICU, STICU), and as a travel nurse throughout the United States. Known for her steady leadership and calm under pressure, she has served as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), preceptor, and IV infusion specialist, delivering comprehensive care in both hospital and home settings.

Kathy’s nursing journey began at Calhoun Community College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing while balancing full-time work and raising a family. Over the years, she cultivated expertise not only at the bedside but also in triage, quality assurance, and patient education. Her nine years as a travel RN further developed her adaptability, giving her firsthand experience with diverse patient populations and clinical systems. She has also taught Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), shaping the skills of healthcare professionals and helping to elevate standards in critical care.

Today, Kathy continues to serve patients through private contracts, specializing in home-based IV infusion therapy and remote triage services. She is driven by a deep sense of purpose, believing nursing is a calling that has shaped every chapter of her professional life. Her approach blends clinical precision with compassion and patient advocacy, a reflection of her long career serving communities across the country.
