She is based in Columbus, Ohio, and currently serves as a nurse practitioner educator for Regis College, teaching future healthcare professionals with a focus on family practice and community health.

Kathleen began her nursing career after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from SUNY Canton College in 2009. She continued her education through a bridge program at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing, completing the Family Nurse Practitioner track in 2012. She later expanded her expertise in public health by earning a Master of Public Health from the University at Albany in 2019.

As a nurse practitioner, she practiced in family medicine and internal medicine offices and provided care through home visits and telehealth. Her clinical versatility has allowed her to serve patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in both urban and remote settings.

A hallmark of Kathleen’s career is her dedication to underserved populations. She has extensive experience caring for homeless patients, non-English-speaking individuals, and international clinic populations. Her commitment to global health is reflected in her participation in numerous medical mission trips to Haiti, including work in remote villages and earthquake relief efforts. She emphasizes culturally sensitive care, patient advocacy, and translation support to help patients navigate the healthcare system with dignity and respect.

Outside of her professional work, Kathleen is actively engaged in her community. She volunteers with pastoral care and outreach programs at her church in Columbus, Ohio, helping lead initiatives that support local families and vulnerable populations. She is also a devoted mother of five, enjoys running, and values family-centered activities.
