Dr. Kathleen Bickel, MD, MPhil, MS, FACP, is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Palliative Care. She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and teaches at the Quality and Safety Academy through the Institute for Healthcare Quality, Safety, and Efficiency (IHQSE). Dr. Bickel has held academic and clinical positions at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, the University of Michigan Health System, and the White River Junction VA Medical Center. She practices telemedicine and is committed to developing innovative models that increase access to specialty care for diverse patient populations.

She holds a Master of Science in Quality and Outcomes Science from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice and is actively involved in teaching quality improvement and statistical process control. Through her work, she strives to improve patient outcomes, support families, and ensure that healthcare delivery is compassionate, equitable, and effective.
