Katherine Tuttle, RN, MSN

Katherine Tuttle, MSN, is a forward-thinking cardiac nurse and freelance healthcare writer with over five years of professional experience. Representing a new generation of nurses who bridge the gap between clinical expertise and technological innovation, she is currently transitioning from travel nursing to a management position. Katherine earned her undergraduate degrees in Russian Studies and Psychology from College of Wooster in Ohio before completing a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. During her graduate studies, she completed a research internship and published a thesis exploring the role of smartphone applications in cardiac rehabilitation, signaling her dedication to integrating medical technology into patient recovery and education. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and holds an LSF card, and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Katherine has gained diverse clinical experience as a travel cardiac step-down nurse from coast-to-coast including Kaiser in California, Holy Name Hospital in New Jersey, Stafford in Virginia, and University of Maryland Medical Center in Maryland. She also has experience as a private duty nurse providing personalized care for a family. Her career is increasingly focused on medical technology, with the goal of teaching healthcare professionals to leverage evolving tools to improve patient outcomes and clinical efficiency.
