Katherine Matta, MD
Dr. Katherine (Katy) Matta is a board-certified gynecologist dedicated to providing personalized, comprehensive women’s healthcare to patients in Brighton, Brookline, and surrounding Massachusetts communities. As a partner at Nicole H. Boudreau, MD P.C., she focuses exclusively on office-based gynecology, offering compassionate, patient-centered care that addresses each patient’s unique needs and promotes long-term health, comfort, and quality of life.
Dr. Matta earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Doctor of Medicine (MD) through the accelerated six-year program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois, gaining broad clinical expertise in women’s health.
Throughout her career, Dr. Matta has devoted herself to office-based gynecologic care, helping patients with preventive care, routine exams, management of gynecologic conditions, menopause care, and overall reproductive health. She combines extensive clinical experience with a warm, individualized approach, ensuring that each patient receives care tailored to her lifestyle and health goals.
Dr. Matta is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds the MSCP (Menopause Society Certified Practitioner) certification, reflecting her specialized focus on menopause management. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Medical Women’s Association, and the Catholic Medical Association, staying connected with the medical community and current evidence-based practices.
Committed to lifelong learning and advancing women’s health, Dr. Matta is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Boston University and has completed a Safety, Quality, Informatics, and Leadership Certificate from Harvard Medical School. Her dedication extends beyond patient care to improving health systems and community women’s health initiatives.
