Karim Masrouha, MD

Dr. Karim Masrouha, MD, is an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal oncology at NYU Langone Health. Trained to care for both children and adults with complex bone and soft tissue conditions, he brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to every aspect of his practice. Dr. Masrouha works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams—including neurologists, oncologists, radiologists, therapists, and orthotists—to tailor comprehensive care plans that optimize functional outcomes and support overall well-being.

Dr. Masrouha earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the same institution. He pursued advanced fellowship training in pediatric orthopedic surgery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and musculoskeletal oncology at the Juravinski Cancer Center. His commitment to clinical excellence has been recognized with honors including the Humanism and Professionalism Resident Award and induction into both the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Masrouha is an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, the Director of the New York Ponseti Clubfoot Center, and the Associate Director of the Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship Program. He is actively involved in medical education and outcomes-based research in both pediatric orthopedics and orthopedic oncology, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based practices and improved patient care.
