Karen Hatfield, LMHCA

Karen Hatfield is a driven and compassionate mental health professional with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health and clinical management. She currently serves as a therapist at Indiana United Methodist Children's Home, providing individualized support to children and families. Throughout her career, Karen has demonstrated strong decision-making abilities, balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on client care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, correctional facilities, and inpatient treatment centers.

Her clinical experience spans mental health therapy, addictions counseling, and case management. Karen has held roles as a clinical manager at Hickory Treatment Center Rockville, mental health therapist at Indiana University Health, and therapist at Meridian Health Services Corp., among others. She specializes in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches, helping clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Her leadership has consistently emphasized both patient outcomes and staff development.

Karen earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University.
