Kareema Boone, BSN, RN

Kareema Boone is a dedicated Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner candidate with extensive experience delivering patient-centered care across reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum settings. Since beginning her nursing career in 2017, she has worked in diverse healthcare disciplines, including adult medicine, orthopedics, hepatology, and neurology, before focusing her expertise on maternal-child health. As a trained postpartum doula, Kareema combines clinical skills with advocacy, care coordination, and a deep commitment to supporting women and infants during critical life stages. She currently serves as a Community Health Nurse at BAYADA Home Health Care, providing hands-on, community-based care that emphasizes prevention and support for underserved populations.

A graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Kareema demonstrated leadership early in her career, serving as president of the Educational Opportunity Fund student organization and founding the Tau Chi Beta chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. She also held a regional leadership role within the sorority and was recognized with the Fabian Molina Award and the Monsignor Servant Leadership Award. Kareema is now completing her Master’s in Women’s Healthcare at Frontier Nursing University, further advancing her expertise in evidence-based practices that enhance maternal and infant outcomes.

Passionate about reducing disparities and empowering families, Kareema founded Building Women’s Health Care Solutions to develop innovative, proactive healthcare strategies that prioritize prevention, education, and advocacy. She emphasizes extending care beyond the hospital, particularly in underserved communities, and works to educate families on exercising their healthcare rights. Her professional mission is to ensure women receive holistic, informed, and equitable care at every stage of life.
