Kareem Collins, CES, CPT
Kareem Collins is a Cancer Exercise Specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he develops and implements evidence-based exercise programs for individuals facing cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and other medical conditions. His work focuses on improving strength, mobility, and overall functional outcomes, ensuring that each client receives safe, effective, and personalized care.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Brooklyn College and completed the Cancer Exercise Specialist Program at the Cancer Training Institute of the American Council on Exercise. In addition, he holds certifications in USA Weightlifting, USA Track & Field, USA Boxing, and Functional Movement Screening (FMS), allowing him to provide specialized training for both clinical rehabilitation and performance-based programs.
With over two decades of professional experience, Collins has served as a Fitness Coach at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, a Parkinson’s Exercise Program Instructor at 92Y/ Mount Sinai, and a personal trainer at New York Sports Clubs. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive expertise in rehabilitation, prehabilitation, program design, and community-based exercise initiatives, helping clients of all ages and abilities achieve measurable results.
Outside of his professional work, Collins is passionate about strength training and spending time with his nephew. His mission is to empower individuals to take control of their health and wellness through structured, scientifically grounded exercise programs, while fostering a supportive and motivating environment.
