Justin Jones is a nationally recognized healthcare entrepreneur and executive with more than 25 years of experience translating complex science into scalable, commercially successful healthcare, diagnostics, and wellness businesses. He began his career in senior commercial and strategic roles with industry leaders including Dr Pepper/7‑Up, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Enzon Pharmaceuticals, ICOS Biotech, and Cangene Bio, where he worked across marketing, branding, managed care, business development, and M&A initiatives. These experiences laid the foundation for his transition into entrepreneurship. In 2014, Jones founded Advanced Genomics, which was later rebranded as Geneus Health and grew into one of Texas’s largest genetic testing laboratories. Under his leadership, Geneus patented the Genetic Addiction Risk Score (GARS®), the first patented genetic test of its kind in U.S. history, and launched restoreGen® (KB220), the first patented all‑natural dopamine agonist approved in both the United States and the European Union. He later developed a personalized version of this technology, Synapta+™. Both restoreGen® (now Synapta+™) received funding for clinical trials from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through a collaboration with the National Human Genome Center, providing significant third‑party validation of their scientific and clinical merit. Today, Jones holds three issued genetic patents and three patents pending, making him the largest individual holder of behavioral health predisposition genetic testing intellectual property globally. Jones’ innovations have extended into professional sports, where he introduced pharmacogenetic testing to the NBA, earning the Healthcare Innovation Award presented by Lucille and Shaquille O’Neal. In 2016, he was commissioned to design and build a pharmacogenetic laboratory and division for Centre Testing International Group Co., Ltd. (CTI), the largest publicly traded laboratory company in China. During the COVID‑19 pandemic, Jones led Geneus Health through high‑volume diagnostic testing for federal agencies including ICE, Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and more than 80 municipalities and universities nationwide. Following this period of rapid scale and impact, Geneus Health was acquired in 2022. That same year, Jones was recognized as one of the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (IFAH) Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries. In parallel, Jones co‑founded Kalypso Wellness Centers, helping to expand ketamine infusion therapy clinics across more than a dozen states prior to the company’s acquisition by Eleusis. In 2022, he launched Avagen Pharma, securing patent rights to the men’s health drug Ristenza® and orchestrating its strategic acquisition by NanoHarmonics and Erogenix Pharma, aligning the formulation with broader digital and online distribution platforms. More recently, Jones has expanded into the wellness and longevity sector with the creation of WLNS (Wellness Longevity Network System), a virtual precision wellness platform integrating genomics, diagnostics, AI‑driven insights, and personalized health protocols. Through his leadership, he has also launched WellGenx, the anti‑aging skincare brand Velisce, eye‑health genetic platform EyeGx, genetic and forensic application NeuDefense, and behavioral health genetic platform Predict IQ. Beyond his commercial ventures, Jones has served on multiple nonprofit and advisory boards, including Driscoll Children’s Hospital Chemo Kids, Rays of Relief, Texas Adolescent Oncology Conference, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and SecureDX. He has guest‑lectured at the University of Texas, Texas State University, Incarnate Word, and other institutions, while promoting his best‑selling Powerhouse Interviewing Workbook. Jones holds a B.S. from Texas State University, an MBA from the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University, and an Honorary Doctorate from the Florida Institute of Technology’s College of Business. He is also HFMA‑certified in healthcare finance and compliance. His work has been featured in multiple publications, including Sober World Magazine for the GARS® test, MD Monthly Magazine, San Antonio Business Journal, and Longevity Technology Magazine in 2025 for his pioneering efforts in integrating blockchain, genomics, and AI through the WLNS platform.
