Juan J. Bracho, MBA, MSN, RN, CIC, is a seasoned nursing leader and infection prevention specialist with over two decades of progressive experience in healthcare administration, clinical nursing, and organizational leadership. He currently serves as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Miami Jewish Health, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes. His leadership has contributed to significant organizational achievements, including Miami Jewish Health earning a 5-Star CMS rating, reflecting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Juan’s professional journey is marked by a unique blend of clinical expertise and administrative acumen. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing (Administration) from the University of Phoenix and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Hosanna College of Health. Prior to entering nursing, he built a strong foundation in business and administrative management through multiple degrees earned in Venezuela. He is Certified in Infection Control (CIC®) and has led infection prevention initiatives across long-term care and healthcare systems, ensuring adherence to best practices, staff education, and continuous performance improvement.

A proud Latino leader, Juan attributes his success to perseverance, empathy, and the ability to see diversity as strength. He is passionate about mentoring staff and often uses the metaphor of a picture made of many different “pixels” to emphasize the importance of understanding individual perspectives to create meaningful, high-quality outcomes. Outside of work, Juan enjoys spending time at the beach or pool and going out for dinner, finding balance and renewal through connection, relaxation, and community.
