Outside the clinical environment, Dr. Crooks is deeply engaged in community service and creative athletic pursuits. He has volunteered with organizations such as the Bat Alliance, where he brought joy and encouragement to children by participating in superhero-themed outreach events, and the San Antonio Food Bank, assisting with food distribution efforts. He is also passionate about circus arts, dance, and partner acrobatics—interests that have taken him across the United States and Europe for training, performance development, and event medic support.
