What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
I truly value the relationships I build with my patients. In surgery, there’s a unique satisfaction in helping people in an immediate and meaningful way. Bariatric surgery, in particular, is incredibly rewarding because I get to witness patients transform their lives—regaining health, mobility, and the activities they enjoy most. That’s what drew me to bariatrics in the first place. In general surgery, I often see patients at some of their most challenging moments, and being able to help them recover and return to health is equally fulfilling.
