Jordan Barrows, BSN, RN, RNC-NIC, is a dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at Northwest Health, providing specialized care to the most vulnerable newborns. She is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting families through critical moments in their infants’ lives. Jordan’s expertise in neonatal care allows her to make a meaningful impact every day, combining clinical skill with empathy to improve outcomes for her tiny patients.
Throughout her career, Jordan has gained extensive experience in pediatric and neonatal nursing, including roles at Arkansas Children’s, Bentonville Public Schools Foundation, AMN Healthcare, and Mercy. Her background spans Pediatric Oncology Nursing, Travel NICU assignments, and general pediatric care, reflecting a diverse and well-rounded clinical skill set. Known for her dedication and collaborative approach, she creates a nurturing environment for both patients and their families.
Jordan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, graduating with a 3.8 GPA, and recently completed her Doctorate of Nursing in Advanced Practice with a 4.0 GPA. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is passionate about giving back to the community and actively contributes to the March of Dimes, supporting initiatives that improve maternal and infant health. What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in my patients’ lives. Being able to provide guidance, support, and compassionate care while helping individuals navigate their health challenges is deeply rewarding. I find fulfillment in building trusting relationships with patients, educating them about their conditions, and collaborating to develop personalized care plans that improve their well-being. Ultimately, the ability to positively impact someone’s health and quality of life is what drives my passion for medicine.
