Jessica A. Strickland, LPN, Nurse Supervisor

Jessica “Jay” Strickland, LPN is a Clinical Nurse Supervisor specializing in nephrology at the Renalus Center for Kidney Care in Pensacola, Florida. With 11 years of dedicated nursing experience and over 5 years in her current leadership role, she oversees clinical operations and supervises a multidisciplinary team of 8-10 staff members. Her responsibilities include coordinating patient care activities, supporting complex infusion therapies such as Cytoxan, Rituxan, Epogen, and blood transfusions, reviewing critical lab results, and collaborating closely with providers and dialysis units to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered kidney care. Jessica’s passion for nephrology is deeply personal. Her commitment to healthcare was shaped by her experiences caring for her mother and sister, both of whom battled kidney disease and underwent dialysis prior to their passing in 2012 and 2015. This profound life experience strengthened her dedication to patient advocacy, education, and compassionate care. She is especially driven to help patients and families better understand and navigate chronic kidney disease, ensuring they feel supported throughout their healthcare journey. Her approach to nursing is rooted in empathy, clear communication, and a strong commitment to going above and beyond for those she serves. Throughout her career, Jessica has gained diverse clinical experience across OBGYN, family medicine, home health care, and plasmapheresis, contributing to her well-rounded and adaptable approach to patient care. She earned her Practical Nursing diploma from Jones College in Ellisville, Mississippi in 2015 and holds an associate’s degree in general studies from Pearl River Community College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Education and Administration at William Carey University, expected to be completed in December 2026, where she has earned recognition on the Dean’s List for academic excellence. In addition to her professional work, Jessica demonstrates her commitment to community service through quarterly support of the Waterfront Mission, an organization dedicated to feeding and clothing individuals experiencing homelessness.
