Jeranie Haslem, RN

Jeranie Haslem is a dedicated Registered Nurse based in Salt Lake City, Utah, whose passion for patient care began at just 16 years old when she started working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in long-term care. Her early exposure to healthcare laid a strong foundation for a career defined by resilience, adaptability, and compassion. Prior to the pandemic, Jeranie completed a surgical technology program, further expanding her clinical skill set while navigating personal challenges, including supporting her brother’s recovery after a serious plane crash in 2019.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeranie worked on the front lines in the emergency department, where she quickly advanced from CNA to critical care tech, trauma tech, and health unit coordinator at Intermountain Health. While pursuing her nursing education, she developed a strong ability to perform rapid assessments and provide high-quality care in high-pressure environments. Although initially hired as an emergency department nurse, Jeranie chose to transition into her current role as a Registered Nurse Field Case Manager with Amazing Care Home Health Services to broaden her clinical perspective and deepen her impact in patient-centered care.
Jeranie earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Joyce University and recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University, with a focus on community health. Her clinical experience in Roatan, Honduras played a pivotal role in shaping her passion for community nursing, where she witnessed the power of compassionate care in resource-limited settings. While she thrives in the fast-paced world of emergency medicine, Jeranie remains committed to building meaningful connections with her patients, ensuring that empathy and presence remain at the core of her practice.
